The University of Oxford Space Research Network has invited the Westcott Business Incubation Centre to its Space Industry Day event on Thursday 27th September 2018 at the Department of Physics in Oxford.
The Network brings together teams from a variety of Space-related research and technology activities across the university. Their key objectives are to foster collaboration within Space research at Oxford and provide a point of contact for industry. The University of Oxford is part of a thriving regional Space ecosystem with research activity covering technologies for Space exploration, telecommunications and data challenges.
For their inaugural Space Industry Day event they are partnering with the European Space Agency, RAL Space and the Satellite Applications Catapult, home to Europe’s largest Space cluster. The event will include tours of relevant laboratories and facilities, keynotes from leaders in the UK Space sector, as well as presentations and demonstrations from both academia and industry, showcasing research and innovation in the Space sector.
